hi everyone! first time on wordpress. pretty user friendly

QoQ is just about 26hours away? i’m feeling the hype for it, not too much though but certainly gona build up as the hours go by! a short write up before you meet me tmr- im pretty much an outgoing person, friendly and LOVES to party! so i’m really looking forward to tomorrow’s party and not forgetting zoukout! i’ll be there with my uni mates so hope to bump into ya there!

pageant experience was brief- participated in 2 pageants before QoQ. the most adventurous time of my life was definitely strutting down the runway for siloso beach babe pageant in 2006 don just in bikini. it was held at the countdown party and being my first pageant, i was sucha noobcake at catwalking but the thrill was simply amazing! winning the title was nonetheless one of the best new year gift i had

tomorrow will bring about an additional page to history and i’m looking forward to filling it! i would like to wish all the girls the best of luck and definitely and unforgetable time of our lives!

this is my very first post. And this is so weird to me. i was told to write something about myself. so here i go!

Currently, i’m working temp in town. it’s s service line, so basically i meet all kinds of ppl and encounter all kinds of situation. be it funny, or irritating.

the reason why i’m blogging, is to let everyone know about this little cute red hat for christmas!! If you guys hav been shopping in town. I think you will come across some young and energetic people selling small little cute red hat on the street! It’s for CHARITY!! the little red hat has a clip inside it used to clip on your head. it’s 5 bucks, but 1 buck will be donated to the charity. I’ve already gotten 1 for myself! (:

Hi!

I’m Chloe from SIM. Just a brief intro of myself!

turned 21 last month and i stay with my family- dad, mum & my 192cm tall younger bro! haha! hmmm, studied in - Jiemin pri, Deyi sec & Nyp before continuing my studies at SIM-University of London (UOL)- Business.

During my sec days: I joined the Girl Guides where I participated in many interesting activities such as kayaking, rock climbing, cooking classes & tons of camps.. We really digged holes & set-up tripods to roast chicken & baked pizza, muffins, chocolate-bananas etc w/o oven!   so so fun!

After the O levels, I worked at ‘Famous Amos’ at the previous ’specialist center’ (opp centerpoint), during the sch holidays, for about 6-8 months? haa.. it’s a job that I really enjoyed. Everyday, I gt to roll the doughs, dropped them into bit sizes, baked them and woooo–> cookies! my fav ones are: butterscotch and choco & pecans… yum yum*.. learned hampers & lolly wrappings, baking muffins & cookies, making the icing for cookie cakes etc..lol..   

and then, my poly days…. my friends & I were all hooked to online shopping… spree spree & sprees.. so we started out selling hand-made accessories online, before I moved on to sell clothings & bags too..haa.. It feels good when customers love the stuffs they receive. So, I’ve been enjoying this part-time job of mine till this date!

the list goes on & on..

haha..but anyway, this Dec will be def. be a month full of joy & excitement!  

Alot of my friends will be turning 21 this month, so there’ll be plenty of bday celebrations coming up..

plus, my younger bro will be enlisting to NS this Thurs (a day before QOQ)! My family & I are all so excited, after all, ns is a next stage of life! 2-2.5 yrs man!

And, QOQ is just 6 days away! I’m sure all the 12 of us are super excited! heehee..

Hello!

The holidays are finally here, not so excited about receiving my grades for finals but the holidays have proven to be ultra fun even after one week. :) Highlight of the week: zouk on wednesday with good friends from school for good ol mambo night! okay two highlights, catching up with the rest of the world not from SMU. Anyway, its friday night and i’m sitting on my bed at home watching one tree hill on TV. However, there’s good reason for chilling out at home on a friday night; tomorrow morning i’ll be going to Ang Mo Kio to help the elderly paint their houses with a bunch of my friends! Hence, I will be needing all the energy I can get. Somehow, this opportunity really came by chance, and although it may sound really cliche, it feels really nice to be able to give back to society once in awhile. (okay I admit, once in a long long time) 

Okay, time to get some sleep for tomorrow! Thanks for taking the time to read this tiny little entry about my life, goodnight everybody!

OMG I FINALLY ENDED MY PAPER TODAY~! but the sad thing is i din complete my paper =(

we were allowed to bring this help sheet into the exam hall, where we can squeeze everything that we feel will come out in the exams into one single poece of A4 paper. and guess wad? i used font size 4.5! the writings were really tiny man! imagine how much effort i’ve put into doing that helpsheet, but failed to put it to good use!!! hais ok, i shall stop thinking bout the negative and start thinking bout how i can finally not touch my books and concentrate on GOING OUT and PARTYING!

i just went for this event held at Zouk, organised by FEMALE mag called the 50 gorgeous people. the event was astounding! the girls were hot, the guys were suave and the sponsors were great! i thinki i spent most of the time fantacising how i can have the ‘near perfection’ figures that the female contestans had, haha.

WOHOOOOOO~!!!!! i just love the feeling of freedom~! even if it means sitting down and doing nothing. its at least better than having to face my text books and cheat sheets which are like of font size 4.5? i can finally sit in front of the com and continue watching my heroes, gossip girls and maybe start watching lan qiu huo? heard its nice =)

so finally my exams ended yesterday. yayy. and since it was a Wed and my paper ended at 7pm, my group of friends and I headed down to Zouk after our quick dinner at Holland V with the other coursemates. So, Zouk was very crowded, as expected. But phew, we managed to get in and had loads of fun despite the jammed crowd.

Okayy and as mentioned earlier in my previous post, I promised to share my birthday celebrations over this post. And to those friends who might be reading this now and played a part in making my 22nd birthday a pleasant one, thank you so much lovely!

And yes! Just a quick one, I’d my celebrations at these places (not exactly all my bday celebs but i’m including gatherings as well since it falls on my bday weeek yea! hahaha): Singapore Art Museum (first time!), Fish & Co, Kovan Grapevine Cafe (countdown), 2AM Dessert Bar (to dessert lovers esp!!: the tiramisu there is a MUST-TRY! for me, it was a mouthwatering experience! even though it’s a little pricey, but it’s all worthwhile), movie Cape No.7, Brewerkz and BBQ at ECP!

And I’m enjoying the horlidaes right now! Deezemmber is cool right! Can’t wait for QoQ as I will be flying to Taiwan straight after the competition! Shoppingggg! And then back to Sg for Xmas with friends.

Yoyo :) My firsssst post, WOAH!

I shall share abit about myself first and more updates will come in a few days’ time, because I’m still mugging hard for my last paper this Wednesday. (and clubbing after that! ladies night, yay! annnd… this is distracting me from my books! hmpff) Phew, I’ve only 3 papers this semester and I’m down with 2 last week. Hoooray.

Just a brief introduction which I think is necessary

I’m in fact the oldest candidate among the 12 gorgeous queens for QoQ 2008 (in fact, I just turned 22 last Monday). Laughs, I’ll blog about my birthday celebration in a few days’ time okayy? Currently in my final Honours year, I’m doing Communications and New Media (in short, CNM) in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. And if you’re interested to know more about my course, you can ask me since I was from the CNM Students’ Group 2 years ago and used to be one of the ambassadors for our course. Okayy and my physical description? Maybe I should skip this part so that you will be enticed to attend the QoQ night to witness it yourself! Laughs. Hmmmm, and my favourites are:

(it’s a long yet non-exhaustive list, haha) food, salsa, performing music (was from Chinese Orchestra), mahjong, singing, online shopping, movies, pubbing, dramas, etc.. And I just came back from dim sum buffet with my family! I was and am still very bloated. Hopefully the excessive fats and calories will be gone before next Friday.

I love December too, because it’s the holiday and Christmas is here! I have so many plans for this lovely month and will share with everyone in my next post. As for now, I shall stop here so that I can go back to my books! Tune in for more updates. Ciaoz~!!!

ALOHA HOLIDAYS! yesh, just finished exams not long ago. i have been enjoying myself for the past few days, chilling out with friends and having good meals. Feels so good to be playing, enjoying and relaxing without feeling the stress. >.<

I am really looking forward to my December break. So much things going on! I will be doing my Final Year Project, part timing with a cruise company, going for Ben & Jerry Chunk Fest (ICE CREAM!!), running standard chartered half marathon, attending my school family day (BBQ, free flow of food & beer!). AND of cos, QoQ!! I have not been doing much preparation for THE day, besides asking friends to vote and gathering possible questions for the Q&A segment. :S especially nervous for this segment.

Anyway a short introduction about myself. I am a third year student at SMU, double majoring in information systems management and marketing. I am in the squash club and a sub committee member of my school society. I am a cheerful and a very happy person, although I do get moody at times, it doesn’t really last more than a day.
